Darren “DJ” James Lockhart, Jr., 37, of Anderson, passed away December 31, 2025. He was born October 20, 1988, in Anderson. Darren worked for TFX Plating Company in Yorktown. He enjoyed video games, was a huge Indianapolis Colts fan, an avid IU Basketball fan and followed many individual athletes from their college days into their professional sports careers, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends.

Darren is survived by mother and stepfather Tracy and Garry Ferrebee of Anderson, brother Austin Lockhart of Anderson as well as uncles Jack (Kay) Colson and family, David Grant (Melissa) Colson and family and aunt Rebecca White and family.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents David and Sue Colson.

A memorial service to celebrate Darren’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
