David C. Whalen

David C. Whalen, 70, of Fortville passed away at his home on August 3, 2018.  He was born January 24, 1948 in Indianapolis to the late Lawrence and Alberta Whalen.  David was a problem solver and fixing different projects.  He always made his family a priority.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the UAW Local 226 and retired in 2008 from Navistar as an industrial mechanic. 

David is survived by daughter: Jennifer (Willie) Brocks of Indianapolis; granddaughters: Nicolette and Bella Brocks.  He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Whalen in 2007.

A funeral service for David will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  Entombment will follow the service.  Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
