Denver H. Lee, 84, of Fortville, passed away at home on January 28, 2025. He was born on June 24, 1940, in Liberty, Kentucky to Will O. and Birdie (Turpin) Lee.
Denver was a self-made businessman. He owned and operated Denver’s Auto Care in Fortville, as well as several Shell gas stations and car lots in the area. He loved working on classic cars.
Denver is survived by his children Connie (Jerry) Leverett, Ricky Lee, Tina (Jim) Coffman, Shaunda (Phil) Belcher, and Marie Tinsley; his partner of 26 years Kim Rush; bonus kids Melissa (Brad) Kerr, Jennifer Rush, and Samantha Rush; many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Christine Dean and Wince (Merrideth) Lee; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Lois (Halsey) Lee; son Jerry David Lee, and his parents.
