Diana L. (Edwards) Shock Obituary

Diana Lynn (Edwards) Shock, 74, of Carmel, passed away on February 10, 2022. She was born on December 2, 1947, in Greenfield to Robert and Wilma (Paxton) Edwards.

She worked at Hancock Regional Hospital as well as other hospitals in Indiana as an RN. Diana enjoyed traveling, researching genealogy, watching sports, and family events. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Diana was a recipient of one of the earliest liver transplants at the Mayo Clinic in 1988.

Diana is survived by her husband Dennis, whom she married August 24, 1968; children Daniel (Audra) Shock of Noblesville, Deanna Hunt of Longmont, CO, and David (Liz) Shock of Fishers; grandchildren Madelyn Merrell, Gloria Merrell, Paxton Shock, Judah Hunt, Emma Hunt, Ella Hunt, Sophia Shock and Jonathon Shock; siblings Gary (Patty) Edwards, Bertie (Paul) Lappe, and Rick (Susan) Edwards; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville, IN. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022, at 11:00 am at Epworth United Methodist Church, 6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. She will be laid to rest at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
