Donald E. Wilson

Donald E. Wilson, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024. He was born February 24, 1952, in Indianapolis to John and Martha (Sample) Wilson. Don graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1970. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and retired from Navistar in Indianapolis.  Don enjoyed repairing Harley-Davidson motorcycles in his home shop. He also enjoyed building race engines and spending time at Indianapolis Raceway Park.

Don is survived by brother William (Rexann) Wilson of Ft. Meade, FL, niece Krista Wilson-Acree of Picayune, MS, great nieces Katlynn, Aubrey and Brooke Langlotz. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation for Don will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 5 to 7 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 5635 W. 96th Street Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278.
