Doreta Sue (Kimmel) Terry

Doreta Terry, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on July 31, 1940, to Forest Marshall and Carrie Ellen (Zion) Kimmel.

Doreta received her education from the Anderson School System and had worked as and LPN in the medical field. She lived in the Indianapolis area most of her life.

Doreta is survived by sister Darlene Seals of Fortville, brother Doyle (Lynda) Kimmel of Elkton, Florida, 7 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Terry, her parents and brother-in-law Ronald Seals.

Friends may call from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat St., Fortville, IN. A Prayer Service will take place at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Asera Care Hospice.  Online condolences may be shared a www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
