Eddie Joe “Mississippi” Bradford 63, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday March 2, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born on April 24, 1958, in Anderson, Indiana to the late Ed Bradford and Joyce (Moore) Bradford.

Eddie was a welder by trade, including underwater welding. He was also a former Merchant Marine.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing poker and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. 

He is survived by his partner of almost 18 years, Cathy Simpson; children Lacey (Jody) Watson, Casey Bradford, Joey Bradford, Jessica (Derek Cumberland) Simpson and Robert Simpson; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Judy (Robert) Caird and Angela (Mark) Horine; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by stepson Jason Christner. 

Funeral services for Eddie will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday March 13, 2022, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville, IN.  Friends may call from 1:00pm until the time of the service, at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association 115 W.
