Edward Scott “Eddie” Goodman, 21, of Fortville, passed away unexpectedly in a car accident Saturday, August 22, 2020. He was born June 22, 1999 in Indianapolis, IN to Edward J. & Julie D. (Ray) Goodman. Eddie was a 2017 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School.
Eddie was a fun-loving person, who never met a stranger. He enjoyed video games and all music. He loved spending time with his friends sitting around bon fires or just being the life of the party. He loved technology and worked for the Mt. Vernon Schools in that capacity for 3 years. He was currently working for Netfor Technologies in Fishers. While in high school he served as the vice-president and president for JAG (Jobs for American Graduates) program. He was the type of friend who was always there for you and would seem to always have people over that were having a difficult time, just to show them love and be there for them. More than anything, he loved being with his parents and spending time with them.
Eddie is survived by his parents listed above; grandparents: Wayne & Beverly Ray, Keith & Bev Lilly and Richard Goodman; Aunts: Debra (Michael) Waterbury and Lori (Tim) Bostic: Uncle Ron Scott, his lifelong best friend, Bailey Staker and girlfriend Brittany Stewart, as well as several other cousins, friends and co-workers.
Eddie was preceded in death by his Aunt: Tamara Ray and Great-Grandparents Arthur & Lola Johnson, James and Madonna Scott and Neely Denning.
Visitation for Eddie will be Thursday August 27, 2020 at Fortville Church of the Nazarene, 701 S. Maple Street Fortville, IN from4:00 ~ 8:00 PM.
