Ethel Sharlene Allen Obituary

Ethel Sharlene Allen, 80, McCordsville, passed away February 7, 2026. She was born in Noblesville on May 10, 1945, the daughter of Willie Cline and Edna Mae Sparrow.

Sharlene was the embodiment of patience and love. She held a deep Christian faith that guided her throughout her life. As a devoted mother, she raised four sons and worked tirelessly to provide for her family. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to her children were among her greatest expressions of love.

She was a member of Fortville Christian Church and was very active in T.O.P.S. for many years, where she met many lifelong friends. In her quieter moments, Sharlene loved watching television, especially her favorite game shows, and she enjoyed spending time working on word search puzzles.

Sharlene is survived by her children, Stacy Allen (Crystal), Robert Allen, and Ryan Allen (Katie); her sister, Iva Mae Brooks; her brother, David Wayne Sparrow; and 10 grandchildren and 8 great‑grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Allen and sister Almeda Crider.
