Eva Jean Clark, 97, of Fortville, passed away on November 22, 2024, in Indianapolis. She was born on March 11, 1927, to Fred H. and Nema (Fair) Burris in Fortville at a home that sat on the corner of Main Street and Broadway (IN 67).
She was a 1945 graduate of Pendleton High School and was one of the last 3 graduates of that class still living. She married Raymond G. Clark on May 3, 1946. She retired from Textron where she worked as a factory worker specializing in cutting honing stones. She was a Cyntheanne Christian Church Member for 50 years.
Eva is survived by her daughter Linda Corbin of Fortville; daughter-in-law Betsy Clark of Anchorage, Alaska; bonus daughter Jayne Keith of Fortville; grandchildren Graham (Suz) Corbin of Ingalls, Sarah (Luke) Walker and Amy (Heath) Faulkner both of Anchorage, Alaska; great-grandchildren Garrett Cline of Florida, and Emma and Griffin Corbin of Ingalls; and great-great-grandchildren Thorn, Casper, Katie, and Lillian. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond G. Clark who passed away in 1975; and her son Michael Clark who passed away in 2021.
Friends may call on Friday, December 6, 2024, at The Chapel at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, 9088 W. 1025 S., Fortville, IN 46040 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm with burial following on the cemetery grounds. Contributions in Eva’s memory may be made to Cyntheanne Christian Church, 13151 Cyntheanne Road, Fishers, IN 46037.
