Fess Combs Obituary

Fess Combs, 93, of McCordsville, passed away at IU Saxony Hospital on Sunday, June 14, 2020. He was born September 27, 1926, in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Ara & Allie Combs. He was a veteran of the US Army. He spent his career in steel manufacturing, but prior to this he was a lumberjack in Washington for 15 years. Fess loved music and animals, especially his cat Mabelle and spending time with his family& friends.

Fess is survived by companion Anne Lund Jenson of McCordsville; and daughters Karen Moran & Tami Combs both of Washington. Fess was preceded in death by his parents listed above, wife Marie Combs, and 6 brothers & sisters.
