Franklin D. Caudell

Franklin Delano Caudell, 76, of Fortville passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 1, 1945, in Fortville, to Billy and Mary (Snider) Caudell. 

Frank was a graduate of Vernon Township High School, attended Purdue University and retired from Chrysler Corporation.  Frank was a published poet and enjoyed mushroom hunting and spending time with friends and family.

Frank is survived by his wife Kim, son James (Penny) Caudell of McCordsville, daughter Holly (David) Evers of McCordsville; grandchildren Kirstin Caudell and Noah Evers; stepdaughters Tonya Pettner, Tamera Dillard, Trina (Ethan) Krieger; step-granddaughter Larissa; sisters Sharon Bush, Deanna Laxton, Marcia Caudell, brother Jerome “Jay” Caudell as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Frank was preceded in death by his first wife Brenda (Morris) Caudell, his parents and sister Carmen Caudell.

In honoring Frank’s wishes a simple cremation will take place.
