Franklin D. Kilburn

Franklin D. Kilburn, 83, of McCordsville, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, in Indianapolis. He was born September 22, 1939, in Kentucky. Frank retired from 7-11 Supermarkets as a store manager after 55 years. He also was still working at Westminster Village North in the food service area.

Frank loved spending time with family, playing pool and loved his fur babies.

Frank is survived by his wife Patricia “Patty” (Copp) Kilburn whom he married May 2, 1962, children: Franklin (Kris) Kilburn, Douglas (Kristen) Kilburn and Diane Kilburn; grandchildren: Heather, Nicholas, Emma, Ania, Devin, David and Haylee, brother Ozrie (Brenda) Rice and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Kilburn, mother Hattie Jean (Isom) Gully, and siblings Betty Cleary, Geneva McCurry, Paul Kilburn, Fred Kilburn and Floyd Kilburn, Jr.

A graveside service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
