Greg S. "Rocky" Jones

Gregory Scott “Rocky” Jones, 65 of Fortville passed away at his residence on September 15, 2025.  He was born on September 10, 1960, in Indianapolis to the late Charles K. Jones and Alzettia (Mollenkopf) Wilkinson. 

Rocky was previously employed by Indiana Desco Floor systems and had worked as a cook for the Broadway Diner.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting.

Rocky is survived by his sisters Jennifer Bell and Julie Caudell; great niece Mariyah Sears; nephew Andrew Alford; niece Amber Jenkins; partner of 32 years, Diana Mahoney; stepchildren Rebecca Mahoney and Jimmy Mahoney; grandchildren Zianna Mahoney, Grayson Beeman; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Rocky was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Spears and nephew Daniel Sears.

Friends may call on Monday September 22, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00pm, at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat St., Fortville. A funeral to celebrate Rocky’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday September 23, 2025, also at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville
