Irmgard (Rau) Pritt

Irmgard (Rau) Pritt, 82, of Lawrence, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born July 10, 1940, in Germany to Walter and Margaret (Prockl) Rau. Irmgard was a member of Sunnyside Road Baptist Church and was the cafeteria manager at Brook Park Elementary of the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township. 

Irmgard is survived by sons: Walter Stephen Pritt, David M. Pritt and Michael A. Pritt; daughter: Christina M. Rabbitt; 5 grandchildren: David J. Pritt, Lance Pritt, Joshua S. Pritt, Gavin M. Pritt and Alexander J. Pritt; sisters: Brunhilda Peterson, Ingrid Poley, Gerlinde Rau, Astrid Arnoult and Marion Muller.  She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde in 2017 and sister Margaret Stephens.

A celebration of Irmgard’s life will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service.  Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
