Jack G. Orr

Jackie Gene Orr, 88, of Fortville, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born July 6, 1931 in Harrisburg, IL to Orville and Eva (Keneipp) Orr.  Jack  was a 1949 graduate of the old Fortville High School. He retired in 1995 as a mill right after 42 years from Delco-Remy in Anderson.  Jack was a member of the UAW Local # 662, and enjoyed buying, selling and collecting antiques  .

Jack is survived by his wife Janice (Counceller) Orr, whom he married April 13, 1957; children: Joel Wayne Orr, Lee Allen Orr, Lisa Rei Orr, Aimee Nichelle Orr and Ethan Nicholas Brown; grandchildren, Israel Anderson, Michael Orr, and Dillon Frye; great-grandson Quenton Anderson; brother, Robert (Shirley) Orr.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Evalina Campbell.
