Janet "Sue" Davison

Janet S. “Sue” Davison 86, of Fortville passed away Wednesday February 3, 2021 at home surrounded by family. She was born May 26, 1934 in Fortville to the late Virgil and Bernice (Bell) Gamble. She was a graduate of Fortville High School. She retired in 1997 having worked for Bundy’s Supermarket, Woods Wire, Big Lots and Bernice’s Café.  Sue loved going to the casino where she enjoyed playing the slots, she also liked scratch off lottery tickets.  She loved sitting on her back porch where she would watch and feed the rabbits, squirrels, and hummingbirds

Sue is survived by sons, Kirby (Carmen) Davison of Vincennes and Kim (Joy) Davison of Frankfort; daughter, Cathy Snider of Pendleton; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband Thomas Davison, whom she married on February 24, 1951 in Decatur, Mississippi; daughter Lisa Lemonds, brother Donald Gamble, sister Joan Alford and son-in-law Jerry Snider. 

Funeral services for Janet will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call from 12:00 pm, until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8604 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250.
