Janet Sue Little, 80, of McCordsville, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 29, 1945, in Muncie, Indiana.
Janet was a real estate rehabber and flipped houses long before HGTV popularized it. She never found a project she couldn’t tackle and often said, “We’ll figure it out even if it’s wrong.” She was a very generous individual whose love language was gift‑giving, and she truly appreciated everything she had. Janet fiercely loved her family and her grandchildren, and she also held a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Bernie, who preceded her in death.
Janet is survived by her husband of 57 years, Slick Little; her children, Shellie Cash (Tom) and Jodi Bonewitz (Kevin); her grandchildren, Ameera Shannahan and Dastan Shannahan; and her brother, Clyde Shaffer.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Swift, and her brother, Jim Shaffer.
According to Janet’s wishes, cremation was accorded, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
