Janett (Medley) Haley

Janett (Medley) Haley, 72, of Fortville, passed away December 3, 2022, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.  She was born January 24, 1950, in Buffalo Valley, TN to the late Gus Medley and Opal (Chambers) Napier.

Janett retired after 35 years of service from Mitchel & Scott Machine Shop, where she was a Final Inspector. Janett was a member of the Fortville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and attended New Day Baptist Church.

Janett is survived by her daughter Sherri Hughey of Fortville, a son Anthony Wayne (Randi) Haley of Fortville. Grandchildren: Haley Jo Caudell, Hanna Caudell Casey J. Snoddy, Travis L. (Samantha) Smith, Great-grandchildren: Travis & Tony Louks, Quinn Snoddy, Liberty Jo Smith, Waylon Smith, Jaylin Johnson, Jael Johnson, Jacey Johnson, Theodore Baldridge.   

Janett was preceded in death by her husband Earl Wayne Haley, siblings Melvin Medley, Shirley Medley, Connie Medley, J.C. Medley.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 9 , 2022, at 2:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville.  Friends may call on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 12:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
