Janice L. (Martin) Foster

Janice L. Foster, 75, of Fortville, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, in Noblesville. She was born March 30, 1948, in Indianapolis, IN to Gilbert and Vera (Chappel) Martin. Jan was a loan manager for USA Group in Indianapolis.

Jan was a 1966 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and enjoyed bowling and dancing.  She loved to laugh and spend family time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

Jan is survived by her husband Gerald “Jerry” Foster, whom she married February 14, 1986; children: Jodi (Eddie) Alexander; Wade (Jen) Pratt, Kari (Mike) Hale; Jerry Foster, Jr., Mark (Stacy) Foster and Kelly (Todd) Campbell grandchildren: Ashley, Tyler, Austin, Christina, Terrilynn, Kolton, Jaden, Sierra, Adrienne, Alec and Joseph; 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Gib Martin and brother Terry Martin.

A funeral to celebrate Jan’s life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until the time of service.  Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
