Joan K. Zeis-Adam

Joan K. Zeis-Adam, 58, of Ingalls passed away Monday March 9, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born July 20, 1961 to the late Jarre and Sue (Hutchison) Zeis in Indianapolis.  Joan was a manager at PI Graphics in Fortville for over 20 years.  She was a member of the Fortville American Legion Post #391 Ladies Auxiliary, where she held all positions. She enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, she loved to travel, loved sitting on the beach by the ocean, and loved her family and grandkids.

Joan is survived by David Danielson her spouse of over 25 years; daughter, Karen Adam (Phillip Hunter) of Ingalls; son Daniel Adam of Anderson; brother Jay (Brenda) Zeis of Fortville; sister Jennifer (Bill) O’Dell of Anderson; grandchildren Zoe and Zya Hunter; and nieces Ashley, Sabrina and Kristen; nephew Devon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Carol Zeis-Comer.  

Due to the current circumstances, the memorial gathering and service for Joan have been postponed until a time of convenience for the family.  Once the new date and times are established they will be updated here. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 5635 W. 96th St, Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278.
