John D. Hoskins, 57, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025. He was born on August 15, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to John L. and Susan K. (Edmundson) Hoskins.

John was a 1986 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and attended Ball State University. He worked as Director of Facilities for Rootstock Hospitality Group, and prior to that, for the Woods of Britton Apartment Complex.

He enjoyed traveling, biking, and spending time with friends and family. A lifelong Indianapolis Colts fan and was also a former member of the Noblesville Historical Society and loved participating in trivia nights of any kind. Known for his infectious personality and quick wit, John — lovingly called Johnny by his family — brought laughter and light to every room he entered.

John was famous for his ever-growing hat collection. He also had a real knack for picking out the perfect greeting card — funny, heartfelt, and always spot-on. Everyone looked forward to the ones he gave because they were just so him.

John is survived by his father, John L. Hoskins, Jr.; sister, Lori (Dan) Craig; nephews, Hunter Craig and Tylor Hoskins; niece, Emma Craig; and his aunt and uncle, Beverly and Keith Wood. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan K. (Edmundson) Hoskins, and brother, Lawrence P. Hoskins.

A memorial service to celebrate John’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville, IN 46040. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
