Jon A. Davidson

Jon A. Davidson, 66, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023. He was born October 6, 1956, in Indianapolis, IN to Ellsworth A. “Mike” and Elinor M. (Cain) Davidson.  Jon was a 1975 graduate of Lawrence Central High School, received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and his Master of Social Work from Indiana University. He most recently worked at Ascension-St. Vincent Health as a social worker.

Jon liked sports but was especially fond of baseball and was a New York Yankees fan.

Jon is survived by children: Joe (Lilya) Davidson of Indianapolis, Erin Davidson of Noblesville, and Bryan (Kelly) Davidson of Fishers; 2 step-grandchildren; mother: Elinor M. (Cain) Davidson; sisters: Sharon M. (Don) Literal and Brenda K. (Kevin) Forth and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Ellsworth A. “Mike” Davidson and brother Michel L. Davidson.

A celebration of Jon’s life will take place on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at Old Oaklandon Cemetery, Oaklandon.
