Judith L. Archer, 85, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born August 30, 1940, in Indianapolis to Austin E. and Reba M. (Hutcheson) Bonewits.

Judy enjoyed puzzles, BINGO, sewing and dressing up for Halloween.

Judy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and had worked as a seamstress for Fabritech for 32 years.

Judy is survived by children: Cindy (Dean) Whippo, Michael (Dian) Archer, Jennifer (Greg) Karge, Matthew (Donna) Archer, Susan Thornton and John Archer, stepchildren Thomas L. (Medy) Hendrickson, Marnisa (Anthony) Haltom, Michael (Theresa) Wasson, Roger (Debbie) Wasson, Tammy Wasson, 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, brother Robert Bonewits. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Hendrickson, her parents, listed above, sisters Linda Toney and Nancey Rarey and stepdaughter Lisa Wasson.

A funeral to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at 4:00 pm, Friday at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery in Reelsville, Indiana.
