Judith Anne “Judy” Griffey, 88, of Fishers, passed away on February 16, 2025. She was born on June 11, 1936, in Indianapolis to Roy and Mary (Sylvester) Dillman.
Judy married Max Griffey on January 6, 1956, and they had 7 children. Judy was a dedicated homemaker and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk Variety Show. Judy enjoyed watching the birds from her sunroom. She never missed a margarita night with the girls. Judy was known for her sarcasm and worrying. She always reminded everyone to, “Watch out for the deer.”
Judy is survived by her children Jacquelyn J. (Ken) Shepherd, David C. (Mary) Griffey, Libby G. (Steve) Gipson, Daniel L. (Vicky) Griffey, Doug A. (Debby) Griffey, Donald S. (Melanie) Griffey, and Julie A. (Chris) Hansen; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Max Griffey and her parents.
