Judith A. (Newton) Ramsey

Judy A. Ramsey 79, of Fortville, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born November 27, 1942, in Rushville, IN to Charles and Leona (Ogden) Newton. Judy had worked at Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis and had owned and operated Judy’s Place Restaurant in Fortville. 

Judy is survived by children: Charles Hubler of Fortville, Chris (Tami) Hubler of Pendleton Lorrie Ramsey of Indianapolis; Michael (Heidi) Ramsey of Manassas, VA; Lisa (Kenny) Simmons of Greenfield; Penny (Gary) King of Indianapolis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Maury Ramsey, grandson Elijah R. Hubler, siblings Verlin Newton, Morris Newton and Charles Newton.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville with her son Pastor Chris Hubler officiating.  Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of service.   Private family burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  Online condolences may be made at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
