Julia F. Spaur, 74, of Charlottesville, formerly of New Palestine, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Greenfield. She was born October 1, 1950, in Indianapolis to Fred and Mary (Stewart) Burton. Julia retired as a custodian from the former Brandywine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield. She loved anything Harley-Davidson, crafts, especially making wreaths, tending to her flowers in her garden, but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Julia is survived by daughter JoLinda Hennis; grandchildren: Chelesea (Adrian) Hennis-Wilbur, Haley Williams; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Fellows, Rylyn Wheat, Novah Wilbur, Paisleigh Wilbur, former spouse Joe (Cheryl) Spaur, niece Jennifer (Mike) Coffman, nephew Stephen Spaur, and great nephew Samuel Coffman. She was preceded in death by daughter Jacque Lynn Sheable, her parents listed above, sister Fredia Burton Frazer and nephew Jay Spaur.
In keeping with Julia’s wishes, a simple cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
