Katherine L. Calvert, 96, of Ingalls, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Hamilton Trace in Fishers. She was born June 9, 1924, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a Pentecostal minister and also owner of Calvert Bait and Tackle for 21 years selling the business in 1991.
Katherine is survived by a niece, Marilyn Johnson and a nephew Bobby Johnson, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl C. Calvert, father Richard E. Cordell, mother Nettie M. (Kilgore) Johnson, stepfather Normal Johnson and brother Bobby Johnson.
A funeral service to celebrate Katherine’s life will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call on Monday, November 2, from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Graveside rites will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
