Kathleen "Kathy" O’Neal Colcord

Kathleen “Kathy” Morris O’Neal Colcord, 72, of Fishers, formerly of Miramar Beach, FL passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the home of her daughter.  She was born October 24, 1946 in Louisville, KY to the late Melvin Morris O’Neal and Ethel O’Neal Harper. 

Kathy worked at Merrill Lynch in Bowling Green, KY for many years.  It was in Bowling Green that she met and fell in love with Edward “Ned” Colcord III.  They married in 1992 and retired to Miramar Beach in 1993, where they enjoyed a satisfying and fulfilling life together until his death in 2007.

Kathy is survived by daughter Julie and son-in-law Steve Geiger of Fishers, son David Leach of Rush, KY; her beloved grandchildren Dylan Leach, Hope Geiger, Ashley Leach and Zachary Geiger and brother Michael M. O’Neal and his wife Judy of Dawsonville, GA.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
