Kenneth Harvey Vincent, age 91, of Indianapolis Indiana passed away on November 29, 2023, with loved ones by his side. He was born in Speedway, Indiana on October 14, 1932, the son of August “Burt” Vincent and Florence (Harvey) Webster. He was a graduate of Speedway High School. He served our country with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He would tell many stories of his service time in Newfoundland repairing airplanes and riding around on a Vespa motorbike. He retired from General Motors after a long career as a foreman. He married Sondra “Sue” Carter Vincent on September 5, 1969 after a whirlwind courtship. Ken enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles as well as working on cars, trucks or anything else that needed fixed. His girls say he could fix anything and we’ve heard him called the “motorcycle whisperer” by many a friend because he could repair anything ailing their motorcycles as well as engineer things to add to them. Ken was a jack of all trades - a skilled builder, plumber and electrician and built their lake home in Kentucky. He loved camping, boating, water skiing and spending time with his family. He was a constant tinkerer, keeping busy and helping everyone.

He is survived by his wife, Sue, of 54 years, his children Schalesa Lane (Jeremy), Kendra Wood (CJ), Vicki Penn, Lynette Barnette (Eric), Tracey LaPorte (Robert) and Jeffrey Vincent, several grandchildren, Kenneth, Allison, Matthew, Caroline, Brooke, Mason (Alyssa), Jessica (Bojan), Seth, Gabriel, Hayden, Katelynn (Travis), Patrick, Staci, chosen grandchildren Cassandra and Zachary, and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dale Vincent, and grandson Caleb.
