Kevin Lee Zirkle

Kevin Lee Zirkle, 73, of Fortville, passed away on April 22, 2025. He was born on June 18, 1951, in Peru, Indiana to Bill and Gretchen (Miller) Zirkle.

Kevin worked passionately in politics early in his life before transitioning to manufacturing waterproof photography equipment for scuba divers while working for Ikelite Manufacturing. Kevin loved scuba diving and participating in Civil War replica shooting. He also enjoyed baseball and he adored animals, particularly his dog Jack and cat Millie.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 34 years Yvonne Marie (Horn) Zirkle, who he married on April 13, 1991. He is also survived by his brother Alan (Janice) Zirkle and family; nieces and nephews Jacqueline (Mark) Wathen and family; Nick Zirkle and family; Jenifer (Jason) Young and family; Alex (Amy) Hotka and family; and brother-in-law David (Nit) Horn and family. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Gretchen Zirkle.

At Kevin’s request cremation services will take place and there is no formal ceremony scheduled at this time, but friends are encouraged to share condolences and memories.
