Kimberly Lynn Garst, 57, of McCordsville, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. She was born August 23, 1964, in Beech Grove, IN. Kim graduated from Warren Central High School in 1982 and attended IUPUI to become an X-Ray technician. She owned and operated Miss Kim’s Daycare since 1991 where she impacted the lives of hundreds of children over the years. She was active for over 25 years in religious education at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Kim loved reading, scrapbooking, helping others and spending time with family. She was active in Panera Ministry with her sister Priscilla.
Kim is survived by husband Tony, whom she married August 12, 1989, daughters: Lauren (Daniel) Stoddard of Noblesville; Amanda (Adam) Kiesel of Indianapolis and Michael (Katie) Garst of Greenfield; father: Jimmie D. Keith of Monticello, KY; grandchildren: Dalayna Renae Stoddard, Lucas Eric Stoddard, Harlin Louise Kiesel, Cason William Garst, Carter Michael Garst and Piper Elizabeth Stoddard; bonus parents: David and Barbara Paugh of Indianapolis; sisters: Priscilla (Dick) Rose of Fortville and Pamela Burton of Russell Springs, KY; numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored as well as great nieces and great nephews whom she also adored. Kim was preceded in death by her mother Jo Anna Denney and niece Priscia Rose.
Friends may call on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 2 to 6 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A Rosary service will be conducted at 5:45 pm on Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 11:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Fortville. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
