Leo Anthony Kocher

Leo Anthony Kocher, 70, of Fortville passed away on Sunday June 12, 2022, surrounded by his family. Leo was born July 14, 1951, in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Bernard and Catherine (Walpole) Kocher. 
Leo was a retired utility locator for USIC. He was a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Fortville.
Leo is survived by his wife Lorraine E. (Riddle) Kocher, whom he married on November 17, 1990; daughter Danielle (husband Larry); son Matthew (wife Carrie); grandchildren Tyler, Keeli, Whittley (husband Bryan), and Ian; siblings, Mike (wife Jane), Mary Kocher Haley, Marvin, Chris (wife Dodie); and sister-in-law Maureen Kocher Shine (husband Bill). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother Betty Kocher; brother Gerry; and brother-in-law Mike Haley.  He is loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends. He will be greatly missed.  
A celebration of Leo’s life will be held beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday June 18, 2022, at the New Life Christian Fellowship Church, 1574 W. State Rd. 234, Fortville, IN. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
