Leota May Lockhart, 92, of Fortville, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Rawlins House in Pendleton, IN. She was born May 25, 1932, in Indianapolis to Willie and Odessa (Lile) Cramer.
Leota was a sales associate at Wal-Mart. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Fortville Christian Church.
Leota is survived by children: Edwin (Judy) Lockhart and Diana Toy; grandchildren: Chris Toy and Levi Lucas Lockhart, sister Alberta Gregory and nephews Richard and Rodney Gregory. She was preceded in death by her husband Jewell (Joe) Lockhart and her parents.
A graveside service to celebrate Leota’s life will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville with Rob Rigsbee, Senior Minister of Fortville Christian Church officiating. Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
