Linda A. (Bainter) Yager

Linda A. Yager, 69 of Fortville, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at home.  She was born on March 29, 1951 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Edgar L. and Vonda E. (Whiteside) Bainter. 

Linda was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and retired from the Social Security Administration as a claim’s representative.  She married the late James Yager on May 6, 1972.

She is survived by her sons Gregory S. Yager and Jeffrey A. (Kristina) Yager; grandchildren Jalen A. Yager, Aydin Yager, Kyle Yager and Peyton Yager; sisters Janice Bainter Threet, and Judy (Carl) Bainter Hickle; brother Donald G. (Karen) Whiteside, brother-in-law Carmel Vaughn; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Bainter Vaughn.

Friends may call on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  A funeral to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at the Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
