Marilyn Dobbs Obituary

Marilyn L. Dobbs, 74 of McCordsville, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her residence. She was born on July 23, 1946 to the late Raymond & Betty Lou (Cramer) Nickel in Wadsworth, Ohio.

Marilyn graduated from Santa Ana Valley High School and attended the City of Santa Ana College. She married the love of her life Jim Dobbs on February 17, 1973. She worked for over 45 years for INA and Zurich Insurance companies as a clerk. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Marilyn loved Christmas and would leave her decorations up all year long. She enjoyed crocheting but more than anything being with her family, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her husband Jim: children; James (Stacey) Dobbs of New Palestine and Joan Dobbs of Lehigh Acres, FL: grandchild; Nicole Satterfield and great-grandchild Carson Satterfield: siblings; John (Debbie) Nickel and Julieann (Greg) Preston as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, listed above and a sister Connie Lou Nickel
