Marilynn S. “Sue” Rooks, 72, of Anderson, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022. She was born September 18, 1949 in Somerset, Kentucky. Sue was an LPN who worked at several nursing homes throughout her career. 

Sue is survived by her daughter Gina (Michael) Marqua of Greeneville, TN; brothers: Don Trivett, Rich (Renee) Trivett, Steven (Tresia) Trivett, Harold (Terri) Butler, Jr., sisters Brenda (Tom) Sons, Kristy (Greg) Dill, grandchildren: Charity Stewart, Aaron Rooks, Alex (Autumn) Marqua, Brandon Rooks and Cody Rooks, 5 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary Rooks as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Rooks, son Ronald Rooks, Jr., father William Trivett, mother Alberta Whitaker Butler and sister Leigh Ann Trivett. 

A memorial service to celebrate Sue’s life will be held at 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 6:00 pm until the time of service.  Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
