Martha Lee Wurm

Martha Lee Wurm, 85, of Fishers, and formerly of Centralia, IL passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born May 7, 1935 in Mt. Vernon, IL to the late Clyde & Marie (Robinson) Williams. 

Martha graduated in 1953 from Centralia High School in Illinois. She worked for First National Bank of Sandoval, IL for over 35 years until she retired in 2000. She was a Master Gardner of Washington County Illinois and worked for the historical society after her retirement in Centralia, IL. She loved to play the organ, even though she would play for no one. She traveled the world and later in life said she had seen everything and did not need to go on recent trips.

Martha is survived by her sons; Gary (Pam) & David (Laurie) Wurm: 6 grandchildren; Scott, Jessica, Lindsey, Katie, Meghan and Laura; 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister Shirley (Vincent) McMenamy; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Martha is proceeded in death by her parents listed above.
