Michael T. Lorren, 76, of Fortville, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025.  He was born on December 27, 1948, in Niles, Michigan to Robert E. and Bobbi (Hickman) Lorren.

Mike was a decorated U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam.  He attended several colleges throughout his education including Andrews University, Indiana University, and is a Graduate of New York University, School of Business. Mike owned several businesses throughout his life but eventually retired in 2019 from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in Lawrence.

Mike is survived by wife Katherine (Wolsifer) Lorren, whom he married November 27, 1991, children Joseph C. (Christina) Grayson, Loretta A. Vincz and Kathleen Kozlovic, his sister Linda Pimentel and Grandchildren Jace Grayson and Jessica Kozlovic. He was preceded in death by his parents, listed above and brother Robert “Bob” Lorren.

A graveside funeral service for Mike will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Gravel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call in the Gravel Lawn Cemetery Chapel on Saturday from 11:00 am until the graveside service.
