Michael Murphy White

Michael Murphy White, 63, of Fortville, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Indianapolis.  He was born February 16, 1958 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Roy R. and Mary T. (Murphy) White.

  Mike was a 1977 graduate of Madison Heights High School. He drove wheelchair vans transporting handicapped individuals for several ambulance services, including Rural Metro Ambulance, Seals Ambulance Service and Care Ambulance. Mike loved his family and  enjoyed spending his spare time gardening and cooking and was an avid Star Trek fan.

Mike is survived by his wife Jane Ann (Collins) White, whom he married May 12, 2001; sisters Lisa A. (Greg) Williams and Mary P. Bourke; father in-law Dale “Dick” Collins; brother in-law Jeff (Janet) Collins; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; fur babies, Missy Ann and Nala Jean. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother in-law Sherry Collins.

A memorial service commemorating Mike’s life will be held on Monday March 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Seals Funeral Home 122 W. Staat St Fortville, Indiana. A visitation will take place Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Jane White c/o Seals Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
