Micheal “Mick” Wilson (Pap), 78, of Ingalls, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was born December 10, 1942 in Ingalls, Indiana to the late Joe and Agnes Wilson, where he was a life-long resident.
Mick was a 1961 graduate of Vernon Township High School and later served as a MP in the United States Army. Mick played semi-pro baseball and was an avid N.Y. Yankees fan. He enjoyed playing Euchre, woodworking, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Brenda (Pennington) Wilson; daughters; Sheri Wilson, Shana (Jason) VanLandingham and son Matthew (Lea) Wilson; 8 grandchildren: Lauren (Tyler), Michael (Lauren), Mitchell, Fletcher, Kelsie (Charlie), Elizabeth, Wilson and Jana; 2 step-grandchildren Haleigh and Ashlyn; 2 great-grandchildren Lincoln Michael and Josie. He is also survived by sister Sherry Reger; brothers, Ben (Connie) Wilson, and Jon Wilson; sisters-in-law Dolly Wilson and Kathy Wilson as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mick was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Agnes Wilson, sister Judith Ann Wilson; brothers Jim, Gene and Bill Wilson; brother-in-law Roy Reger; sisters-in-law Joyce Wilson and Jill Wilson.
Friends may call on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 9:00 am -2 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. A funeral service will begin there at 2 pm with burial to follow at Mendon Cemetery. As a reminder only 25 people are permitted in the funeral home at a time, masks are required, and social distancing must be observed, so please plan your visit accordingly. The funeral service will be live streamed on the funeral home website.
