Minnie Lavern Wright

Minnie L. “Lavern” Wright, 94 of Pendleton passed away Wednesday March 11, 2020.  She was born February 3, 1926 in Arkansas.  Lavern served in the U. S. Army and had worked at the Marion County home as a dietitian. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed gardening in her spare time. 

Lavern is survived by her husband Robert E. Wright, whom she married on March 11, 1966; granddaughter Shanna (John) Randall; great-granddaughter Jessica Taylor; great great-granddaughters Josie and Grace Taylor. She was preceded in death by daughters Ester Campbell and Alice Cook; granddaughter Judy Cook; and several brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Lavern’s life will be held on Monday March 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will follow the service at  the Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
