Myrtle Thompson

Myrtle Thompson, 89, of Ingalls, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She was born January 22, 1929 in Upper Tygart, KY to Claude and Sadie (Madden) Jessie. Myrtle was an excellent cook and enjoyed needlepoint.  She attended the Church of God.

Myrtle is survived by daughter: Phyllis (Charles “Jumbo”) Whetsel of Ingalls; sons: Charles (Connie) Thompson of TN and Glen (Glenda) Thompson of Ingalls; grandchildren: Sheila (Cliff) Asher, Russell (Courtney) Whetsel, Michael (Joni) Thompson, Greg Thompson, Candy Smith, Sabrina (Joey) Hutchison, Amber (Andrew) Sparks, Amanda Thompson and Stacy Thompson; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother: Earl Jessie and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William Thompson; sons: Michael and Robert Thompson and granddaughter: Angela Whetsel and several brothers and sisters.

A service to celebrate Myrtle’s life will be held on _Friday, November 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service.
