Nancy E. (Thomason) Shepherd

Nancy E. (Thomason) Shepherd, 65, of Fortville, passed away, Saturday, April 4, 2020 in Indianapolis.  She was born March 10, 1955 in Greenfield, IN to the late John and Minnie Thomason.  Nancy was an excellent homemaker who enjoyed gardening and walking her cats.

Nancy is survived by her husband David Shepherd, whom she married on October 11, 2001; daughter, Rachel (Jimmy) Hendricks; sons: John Griffith and Donald Griffith, Jr.; stepson Jeffrey David Shepherd;  step-grandchildren Shawn and Robbie Shepherd; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.

Per Nancy’s wishes cremation will take place. A private celebration for family and friends will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Gravel Lawn Cemetery, P.O.
