Patricia Lynne Littlebear-High, 66, of Fortville passed away at her home on May 2, 2024. She was born on February 13, 1958, in LaFollette, Tennessee to Autry McCoy Tackett and Ann McCloud. She always hated it would almost always snow on her birthday and that it was the day before Valentines Day.
Patty was a Loving Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister and Friend - Her kids first ally and Her husbands boss. She saw joy in her grandchildren.
She was a hard working- dedicated employee as a Deli/Bakery Manager for Kroger for 14 years. She quickly gained and held the respect of her peers and management. She loved to be able to catch a Sunday game and root for her team, The Tennessee Titans. She loved watching the Hallmark Channel and could easily con her daughter and husband into watching Christmas movies in July. She was the person everyone could talk to and never expected anything in return. She would ask today for you to keep doing what you do, as it was never about her, and just remember her for what you knew her to be.
Patricia is survived by her husband Michael A. High, whom she married on May 8, 2020. She is also survived by her children Michael Ryan (Nancy) Duffer and Cyndi (Jason Crouse) Duffer; grandchildren Jacob, Alyssa, Samuel, Dustin, Dylan, and Deshea; great-grandchildren Novah, Eliza, Evelyn, and Tatum; and her siblings Mary Holstein, Beth Arieon, Robert Tackett, Buddy Tackett, and Candy Tackett; as well as many extended family members and friends. Patricia is preceded in death by her sons Anthony Wayne Duffer and Steven Patrick Duffer; parents Autry McCoy and Hazel Tackett and James and Ann McCloud; and her brothers Charles Arion and James McCloud.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 6 pm at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville, IN 46040. Friends may call before the service from 4 -6 pm.
