Paul E. Wyatt

Paul E. Wyatt, 82, of Greenfield passed away peacefully Sunday, June 14, 2026, with his children near his side. He was born November 25, 1943.

Paul was a 1961 graduate of the old Fortville High School. Paul retired from Irving Materials in 2005 as a superintendent.  He was also an accomplished welder and heavy equipment operator.

Paul, an accomplished welder, enjoyed blacksmithing, working on the family farm, and raising livestock. He especially loved spending time with his family. One of his proudest achievements was receiving a utility patent for a conveyor belt alignment disk used in mining, which he marketed to various companies.

Paul is survived by son Matthew Wyatt of Carmel and daughter Wendy (Jeff Kent) Wyatt-Wildey of Greenfield; grandchildren Alex (Stephanie) Wildey and Trevor (Alyssa) Wildey, Brooke Wyatt and Lauren Wyatt; great grandchildren Addy and Weston Wildey; brother Ron (Marty) Wyatt of Fortville, sister Barbara Wyatt-Paugh and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Karen (Stultz) Wyatt, parents James R. Wyatt and Georgia Pearl (Lane) Wyatt Lain.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Seals Funeral Home 122 W. Staat Street Fortville, IN 46040. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service followed by the burial at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.

As an alternative to flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s name to the Boys & Girls Club of Hancock County 715 E. Lincoln Street Greenfield, IN 46140.
