Rebecca G. Wooten, 63, of Greenfield, passed away at her home on Friday, June 19, 2026. She was born July 5, 1962, in Indianapolis to Tom and Sharon (Duncan) Harrison. Becky had been a bartender for many years. She first worked at the Fortville VFW Post 6904 for a few years. Becky then worked at the Greenfield American Legion Post 119 for over 20 years, finally retiring after serving as a bartender at the Pendleton AmVets Post #26.
Becky enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, listening to music in her sunroom, and traveling with her husband and friends. She also loved Christmas and spending time with her family.
Becky is survived by husband Richard Wooten, whom she married October 31, 1992, children: William McCabe of Elgin, OK, Holly McCabe of Martinsville, Dawn (Dan) Wooten-Brown and Heather (Todd) O’Neal both of Greenfield; grandchildren: Jayden Kingery, Ariah G. McCabe, Dannika McCabe, Arianna Taylor, Adrian McCabe, Averell Wooten-Brown, Daniel Wooten-Brown, Skylee O’Neal, Tandess O’Neal, Tanessa O’Neal and brother Tommy (Jodi) Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, listed above.
Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat Street Fortville, IN 46040. A celebration of Becky’s life will follow the visitation at the Fortville American Legion Post #391 207 S. Merrill Street Fortville, IN 46040.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Becky’s name may be made to the Pendleton AmVets Post #26 939 S Broadway St, Pendleton, IN 46064.
