Robert W. Keller, 89, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022. He was born April 9, 1933, in Chicago, IL to Clarence and Mary (Ksiazek) Keller. Bob worked as a draftsman/graphic designer for Hughes Aircraft for 20 years and later worked for One America Insurance where he was one of the top performers for many years and Thrivent. He was a member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church and proud of his Lutheran faith. Bob enjoyed being a reader during the church services.
Bob enjoyed may things: golfing, cycling, darts, cribbage and had even run a few marathons. Above all, Bob was a ferocious ping-pong player and was a founding member of the Ping Pong Federation of Bend, Oregon.
Bob is survived by his wife Christine (Lundi) Keller, whom he married May 30, 1987, children: Jeff (Gwen) Keller of Merced, CA, Jill (Joe) Meraz of Yorba Linda, CA and Jacqui (Brian) Bergeron of Rescue, CA; stepdaughters: Mary Winfrey and Anna (Kevin) Gordon both of Indianapolis; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren with another great-grandchild due in July; sister Carolyn (Herb) Walsh of Albertville, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Leila.
A funeral to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Cornerstone Lutheran Church 4850 E. Main Street Carmel, IN 46033. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial with military honors will take place at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.
