Robert "Bob" Flach

Robert “Bob” Flach, 85, of McCordsville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on December 25, 1940, in Whittington, Illinois, Bob was the son of Andrew and Margaret (Hamline) Flach. He built a career rooted in hard work and dedication, beginning as a mechanic before moving into technical sales within the automotive parts industry. In his later years, he worked for Big A Auto Parts, where he was respected for his knowledge and commitment to serving customers.

Bob was an active member of his community and a devoted Mason. He was a member and Past Master of McCordsville Masonic Lodge No. 501 F&AM and was also a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis.

Above all, Bob cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Judy Flach; his son, Jeffrey Flach (Holli); daughters, Natalie Rash (Jeff) and Deidre Couch (Bryan); grandchildren, Lexi Tolbert (Todd), Katie Clark (Adam), Madison Poalson (Mitchell), Sami Nelson (Conner), Christopher Vigna (Marielys Vazquez), and Abi Vigna; and great-grandchildren, Hayden Clark, Ivan Clark, Logan Poalson, Abigail Poalson, Jaxson Poalson, Brooks Tolbert, Hampton Tolbert, and Ariel Vazquez.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Barbara Jean Bright.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 28, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Seals Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville, Indiana. Funeral services will take place Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Gravel Lawn Cemetery Chapel, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Gravel Lawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Riley Children's Foundation.
