Robert "Gene" Wright

Robert “Gene” Wright, 97, of Pendleton, Indiana, passed away on June 5, 2022. He was born on October 31, 1924, in McCordsville, Indiana to Thomas and Margaret (Hennis) Wright.  

Gene married Minnie “Lavern” Wright on March 11, 1966. They were members of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Gene worked as a Machine Operator for Allison’s until his retirement.  

Gene is survived by his granddaughter Shanna (John Randall) Ray of Pendleton; great-granddaughter Jessica Taylor; and great-great-granddaughters Josie and Gracie Taylor. He is preceded in death by his wife Lavern Wright; daughters Ester Campbell and Alice Cook; granddaughter Judy Cook; his parents and his siblings. 

Services will be held for Gene on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
